Indians Battle the Rangers in Surprise Stadium, Check Out the Tribe’s Starting Lineup

Wednesday night the Tribe split a pair of Cactus League games, topping the Angels in Goodyear, and falling to the Giants in Scottsdale.

In the teams win over the Angels, Carlos Carrasco was solid, going 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on six hits with a walk and eight strikeouts.

Over in Scottsdale, the team was pounded 13-0, with Adam Plutko getting beat up for nine runs in 3.2 innings, as he allowed 10 hits, a walk and three K’s.

The team is right back at it today, as the Indians will take on the Texas Rangers in Surprise Stadium with a first pitch at 4:05pm.

Mike Clevinger will be on the hill for his third start of the spring against lefty Drew Smyly for the Rangers.

The game will be televised on SportsTime Ohio and aired on WMMS 110.7 FM, the Indians Radio Network and Indians.com.
