HS Girls Basketball: Medina Wins Big At Keystone 58-16

The Bees upped their record to 3-0 to start the season after defeating the Keystone Wildcats 58-16 on Monday night. Medina used a total team effort in the win, seeing 14 of 16 players score with all making key plays.The team jumped out to a 16-0 lead to open the game and got 9 points apiece from Madison Luthy, Sarah McKee and Elizabeth Stuart. Erin Wojciak paced the team with 6 of the team’s 36 rebounds, and 4 players tallied 3 assists (Luthy, Alexa Nau, Alysen Dywer and Abby McMullen).

Congrats to Rowan McDonald (6 points) & Olivia Bowser (2 points, 2 blocks) for scoring their first official varsity points.

The Bees will host GCC opponents Mentor (12/5) and Euclid (12/8) later this week.
