HS Boys Hoops: Bay Rockets Move to 12-2, Top Valley Forge 78-58

Helped out by a huge first half and 18 points by Christian Dupps, the Bay Rockets topped the Valley Forge Patriots 78-58 on Tuesday night at home.

Bay outscored Valley Forge 17-8 in the first quarter, and then 24-9 in the second to take a commanding 41-17 halftime lead.

The win for the Rockets puts them at 12-2 on the season, and 6-1 in the Great Lakes Conference.

Valley Forge falls to 1-11 with the loss, 0-7 in GLC play.

Jack Maxwell added 16 in the effort for the Rockets, and Max Showalter had 14 in the win.

Logan Sasse led the way for Valley Forge with 14 points. Four other Patriots added seven points apiece.

Bay will travel to Holy Name on Friday in GLC action against the Green Wave. Valley Forge will be in action on Friday as they travel to North Royalton.
