4. The Defense Seems to be a Mess – Again

Last week I gave props to Jim O’Neil for the aggressive play by the Browns defense against Marcus Mariota and the Titans, and today they seemed to go backwards against the Raiders. I will say I felt Derek Carr played a nice game, was patient and gave what the Browns D gave him. Sadly he was not pressured much at all, as the Browns did record a sack all day. They also let Latavius Murray run for 139 yards, which is just unacceptable. Heading to San Diego Sunday, the defense has to find a way to get better. Quickly.
