Five Cavaliers First-Round Draft Picks You Probably Don’t Remember

Sergey Karasev

The Russian-born Karasev was selected with the 19th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers. Karasev was the second head-scratcher drafted by Cleveland in this particular draft, as the team took UNLV’s Anthony Bennett with top selection.

Just like Bennett, Karasev is out of the league and didn’t last too long.

Karasev played three NBA seasons but only one with Cleveland. He played his final two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets, bringing his total averages to three points and 1.5 rebounds a game.

Currently, Karasev starts at shooting guard for BC Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia.
