Counting Down The Browns Worst 5 Primetime Games Since 1999

Cleveland Browns

2. Monday Night Football November 16th 2009 (4-4) Ravens 16 (1-7) Browns 0

How fitting would it be to include the last time the Browns and Ravens met on Monday Night Football in this list? The answer is very fitting. Brady Quinn was the starter for the Browns in this one. He went 13 of 31 for 99 yards and two picks. He was also sacked four times and known for his cheap block on Terrell Suggs where he went low. Jamal Lewis was the leading back with 36 yards and the leading receiver was Mike Furrey with 30 yards. That’s okay, I don’t remember him either. Flacco was able to beat us despite only throwing 18 passes for 155 yards. The game ended on a sour note with the Browns not being able to cross the Ravens 45 yard line, tried lateraling the ball several times to get a score and on that play, Josh Cribbs was laid out. He laid on the field motionless for several minutes before being take out on a stretcher.
