Coach Hue Jackson Declares Browns Not Trading OT Joe Thomas

News broke last night that the 0-7 Browns have been in chats with teams about the services of long time offensive tackle Joe Thomas, and that the team would be willing to move him for the right price.

Not happening.

That’s according to head coach Hue Jackson, who said today that the team has no intentions whatsoever of moving Thomas, who has been with the team since being drafted in the first round back in 2007.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported last evening that the Browns were interested in trying to get a second round pick for Thomas, but at least if you listen to the Browns coach and the tone of the tweet above, his place on the Browns line is safe for now.
