NEOSI would like to send out a big congratulations to the Cleveland Ambassadors of the WPSL. Earlier today they became the Champions of the WPSL Eastern Conference. This concludes a season in which the team didn’t lose a single match, and only allowed one team to earn a draw against them!
They traveled to Maryland this weekend for the league semi finals, and then championship game. Yesterday they defeated the Washington Spirit Reserves. They defeated the reserves 3-0 to advance to todays championship match against Susa FC.
It was nip and tuck the whole match, but the Ambassadors prevailed in the end, winning the championship with a 1-0 victory. Congrats ladies and thank you for bringing championship gold back to Cleveland.
