After the match, Logan Bryant and Juan Panella talked about the victory and advancing to the Regional Finals Title game:

“I mean it was a great match, they took it to us for a set, and we just kind of rallied together,” said Bryant. “Our team chemistry I would say is really good. So we just kind of rallied back and went on to win three straight sets.”

Patella explained during the comeback, the coach said that the team could play more optimally and with more effort.  Patella emphasized that the focus was making sure everybody was trusting each other out on the court.

Bryant also talked about how important the support was from the fans that came to Independence to support the Hilltoppers.

“Chardon is just a big sports town, so we all kind of support each other,” said Bryant.  “It was just great to see people come out.”

Panella also talked about how important the girls volleyball team has been in the success of the boys team this Spring.

“It’s amazing how the girls volleyball team has helped (and coached us) every single day,” said Panella. “The whole community has made us feel like we are important.”
