Cavs unveil new court design for 2017-18 season

CLEVELAND– The Cavs have officially unveiled their new court design for Quicken Loans Arena during the 2017-18 season.

The biggest change is now the shield at center court, which “represents the Cavaliers commitment to Defend The Land and the spirit of resilience that is Cleveland,” according to a release from the team.

The shield logo is the team’s new global logo for the 2017-18 season.

The new home court goes along with the new “modernized” logo and new jerseys the team will wear this season. The border of the court is black, which is a new addition to the Cavs color palette this season.

Also prevalent is the silhouette of the city skyline along the baseline of the court. Fans will have their first chance to see the new court during the Wine and Gold Scrimmage in the beginning of October.
