Bean Scores 24, Delaware Christian handles Gahanna Christian

Tied at 47 at the end of the third quarter, Delaware Christian got a big fourth quarter, thanks in large part to Curtis Bean, who had nine in the quarter.

The scoring started off pretty even, with the first quarter ending with a score of 16-12. Isaac Rindfuss made two threes for Delaware Christian, and Curtis Bean started off his scoring with a three as well. Ryan Manny started off hot, scoring five, but those would be his only points until a free throw in the fourth. Pryce Johnson also added a basket in the quarter.

For Gahanna Christian, they had an even scoring output, with four points from Caleb Robinson, and two from four other players (Kendrick Frempong, Dante Sino, Ammar Crum-Ewing, and Daniel Duncan-Bevans).

The second quarter saw a continuation of back-to-back scoring, as Delaware Christian led only by two at halftime, with a score of 33-31. Rindfuss added three more points, while Bean added six. Nathan Stewart scored his only points of the game in the quarter, with four, while Keenan Siebert and Johnson added two points each. The same five scored for Gahanna Christian, with Sino scoring eight points to put his total to 10.

The third quarter saw neither time take a large lead, and at the end of the quarter, it was tied at 47. Sino was held scoreless for Gahanna, but Duncan-Bevans came alive, scoring nine, to put his total at 15. Dylan Smith and Ryan Barrett scored three and two points for their only points of the game, and Robinson added 2 to his total. For Delaware, Bean, Johnson, and Rindfuss scored six, five, and three to put their totals to 15, 9 and 12.

Gahanna Christian faltered in the fourth, and were only able to score 12 points, opposed to Delaware Christian’s 24. Bean scored nine on the way to clinching the game, with Rindfuss and Johnson adding five a piece.

Delaware Christian was able to get a big victory against Gahanna Christian, with Bean, Rindfuss and Johnson all getting double-digit point totals. They had 24, 17 and 14. For Gahanna Christian, they had three as well, with Sino, Duncan-Bevans and Robinson scoring 16, 15, and 12.
