MEDINA, Ohio – It was a heartbreaking loss tonight during senior night in Medina as our Bee’s came up just shy. Brunswick beat Medina 8-7 in a nail biter.
Seniors Collin Winters, Dillon Munoz, Jordan Fultz, Austin Provost, Brady Hund, Bryce Fink, Justin Alfano, Adam Masek, Spencer Auckerman and Jacob Smith were honored before tonight’s game as an emotional crowd cheered them on.
It was a tough loss as the game was tied at 7 a piece heading into the final frame. Medina played tough all night but came up just shy. A season high six errors would eventually spell doom for our Mighty Bee’s.
They will try to bounce back tomorrow night as they travel to Brunswick and hope to earn the season split with them. The JV team did win however, by a score of 9-6 as Garrett Kiene picked up the win and Ross Ferraro picked up the save.
