5. Luck
No matter what sport you play, it takes some luck and good breaks to have a championship-caliber season. In a sport like baseball with such a long season, luck will have to be on their side. Even the most dominate teams in the past have had a lot of good breaks on their way to a successful season. This point goes hand-in-hand with key #2 as the luckiest the Tribe can be is having great health. It also wouldn’t hurt if a couple teams in the ultra-competitive A.L. Central under-perform.
