I expect big things out of Dillinger as the fans seem to be behind him and he has a wealth of talent. A win over a no name like English seems like the only option here.
Luke Harper vs Erick Rowan

Harper is one of the most under rated talents on the Smackdown Roster. Despite his lack of promo work, he can absolutely bring it when inside those ropes. Erick Rowan doesn’t seem to have any future in a singles role with the company, while Harper can produce big things if given the chance.
Baron Corbin vs Sami Zayn

Zayn battles hard against the giant as he fights valiantly in the underdog role. Where have we heard that before? Oh yes, his entire WWE career. I can only hope they change the script here, but it doesn’t seem that way. If rumors are true and they really are prepping Corbin for a title run this year, then he needs to run though perennial losers like Zayn.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Dolph Ziggler

I don’t think anyone anywhere doesn’t believe this won’t be the best match on the card. It needs to be after one of the worst buildups in WWE history. For everything Nakamura is in the ring, he simply is not on the microphone. His promo skills and give and take with Ziggler have been unwatchable. It has the type of potential to turn fans against him with his awkwardness and just overall weirdness.
What the WWE needs to do is silence him and let him fight. Much like WCW did with Bill Goldberg back in the day. Nakamura and Ziggler are both some of the best pure talents to ever grace a wrestling ring. Let these men do what they do best, and please take all the nonsense away. Let them fight! If so, this match will tear down the house and should be the main event.
Naomi, Charlotte & Becky Lynch vs Natalya, Tamina & Carmella

I think this one screams a Charlotte heel turn to join the likes of Natalya, Tamina and Carmella. However, I also see Carmella being booted from the group once Charlotte joins it. It simply would make the most sense to do it that way. The double cross at Backlash would also set up the Naomi vs Charlotte title match / feud to come.
Kevin Owens {C} vs AJ Styles for United States Title

This has the potential to be the best match of the night as it features the best two talents on the roster. I agree that Styles will win after Owens gets DQ’d, setting up a rematch and allowing the feud to continue into the summer.

This match sums up just how bad the Smackdown Tag Division is right now. The Hardy Boyz really should have come over to Smackdown.
Randy Orton {c} vs Jinder Mahal for the WWE Heavyweight Championship

Orton will snap and get himself DQ’d after attacking Mahal with the chair in a form of payback. This will also allow the feud to continue. I don’t see any way possible the WWE universe gets behind Mahal as champ if it happens. He is clearly “on something” as his physique has ballooned up overnight. His entourage comes across creepier then formidable, and he doesn’t have traditional heel heat as much as he has heat of people truly not liking him. All that aside, the WWE continues to build their force in India so I would have to imagine they keep Mahal at the top of the card for at least a few more months.
