Joe Schobert – The pro bowl linebacker is extremely important to the Browns entire defense. Schobert is the QB of the defense. If anyone is out of place, Schobert makes sure they end up in the right place. Cleveland lost all four games he missed.
Briean Boddy-Calhoun – I’m not saying that it’s a must to sign him to an extension, but I think keeping him around for depth purposes in the secondary is a good idea. Boddy-Calhoun is not a shutdown corner by any stretch, but he can come in as a decent backup and could be on the field when the opposing offense wants to spread out the Cleveland defense.
