Westlake Demons Bowling Team Finishes Fourth in Ed Zitnik Memorial Tournament

The Westlake Demons Bowling Team was on the road Friday, as the squad traveled to Hubbard, wrapping up 4th place at the Ed Zitnik Memorial Tournament.

The Demons were matched up with three Youngstown area teams, as Howland won the tournament, topping Hubbard, Canton-McKinley, and finally Westlake.

The tourney featured a heavy Baker-game format, and in Round #1 Westlake team finished in the 3rd seed position with a 2479 total (2 games + 5 Bakers).

In Round #2, determined by the total of 10 Baker games, Westlake had their issues, and fell to fourth place overall due to very dry lane conditions.

In the tourney the Demons were led by seniors Peyton Hedges (23/30) and Charlotte Button (22/30), Junior Jenny Wisniewski (20/30), and Sophomores Taylor Hedges (21/30), Gabrielle Hansen (13/24) and Rema Alsabony (2/6).
