Warriors sweep Cavaliers for second straight title; three takeaways

3. In the end, this season always felt fated to end this way

By now you well know the drama that has surrounded the 2017-18 Cavaliers. From trades, to locker room meetings, to soup throwing, to elimination games, they have run the gamut.

At times during the regular season, it felt like they wouldn’t even make the playoffs. During their opening round series with Indiana, it felt like there wouldn’t even be a second. Against Boston, it felt like a fourth trip to the Finals would be just out of reach.
