Cleveland Heights native, Travis Kelce, hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time yesterday. The Super Bowl champ crushed it bringing laughter to viewers. Kelce’s huge personality shined through and made him a hit with fans.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end started off the show with a hilarious monologue. The Kelce family was in the audience and Travis poked some fun at them during his opening.

Kelce’s brother, Jason, was quite the hit during the monologue. Jason’s expressions when the camera panned to him were priceless.

The skits highlighted Travis comedic skills. A Patrick Mahomes look-alike American Doll was a great added touch to this skit:

During the opening, he brought up his past dating show “Catching Kelce” which he said “was a little embarrassing.” That did get a laugh from his brother who was comedically stoic when Travis spoke of the Super Bowl.  He segued the cancelled dating show well into another one of his skits:

Kelce’s large personality was a great fit for SNL. The tight end is one of a long list of NFL players to host the iconic show. He’s the latest player to host since J.J. Watt in February of 2020.

He ended the show next to musical guest, Kelsea Ballerini, and his brother. Kelce was so good that he had the internet buzzing throughout the show and into Sunday. The star brought attention to Saturday Night Live which has been losing viewers over the past few years. Based on the reactions the two-time Super Bowl champ could very well be a two-time SNL host.
