On Monday, it was reported by Zac Jackson of the Akron Beacon Journal that the Cleveland Browns were hiring former Alabama OC Tommy Rees to coach Tight-ends for the Browns. Rees, who played for QB Notre Dame from 2010-2013 got his start in coaching at Northwestern in 2015 as a Graduate Assistant. His father Bill Rees worked for the team from 2004-2008 in the front office, where Tommy spent his time working with the equipment staff. Being only 31 years old and one of the highest paid coaches in all of college football is a compliment to his knowledge of the game and according to Jackson, Rees is being brought on to help bolster the Browns struggling passing game.
