Why is this so exciting for Northeast Ohio Sports fans?
Hope! A new beginning!
It gives us something to talk about, look forward to, and rally around as a community!
However, at the end of the day, especially with pro sports, for us, the fans it really is about entertainment.
For a few hours, or a few minutes, can football help us escape the monotony of the day and think about something fun that hopefully brings our community together in a positive way?
Of course, the success of our Northeast Ohio professional football team can be important from a business perspective, especially for local businesses.
But for most of us, we are really just hoping to be entertained for a little while to take our minds off of whatever things we might be dealing with in our day to day lives.
Just like anything, the sports experience is not always a positive experience for participants and fans alike.
But more often than not, sports are fun to talk about and hopefully should bring us all together in a positive way.
As much as we want our Cleveland Browns to do well this year, in the big picture, to our lives, for most of us it really doesn’t matter.
So as the season starts tonight, let’s have fun talking, watching, and reading about football, and maybe even attending a football game this season.
Oh, and by the way, about that game tonight…………
