The Matteo’s Browns Beat

BEREA, Ohio – Before everyone starts freaking out about the Browns possibly going 0-16 this season because of a winless pre-season and various veterans departing. Remember two things, the 72 Dolphins who won the Super Bowl after going undefeated in the regular season, went winless in their pre-season. Also, the 0-16 Detroit Lions went undefeated in their pre-season before going winless in the regular season.

Still, even with that all said, the Browns are going to be bad this season, I mean really bad! While there are bright spots here and there, the overall picture does not look good. They will need rookie to develop quick, and veterans to play as if they were back in their prime.

They will tell you, and I agree, the main objective is for them to improve and have the rookies learn and grow each week. Will it happen, or is this step one in another eventual 2 season front office turnover?

I’m inclined to believe that this is truly a turnaround for the better. They had 14 draft picks, you would have to hope that at least 7 or so will pan out and become great pro’s.

The future of the Browns season may be uncertain, but one thing that isn’t, is the future of your appetite and the quality meal you will be served this weekend at Matteo’s where Chef Tony is cooking up all your favorites!

Chef Tony’s first weekend special is Tuscan Casserole. Mild Italian sausage, Matteo’s meatballs, sauteed onions and bell peppers, cavatappi pasta, house red sauce and melted Provolone cheese which is pictured above.

His second special feature is Steak gorgonzola. A 10 oz. Sirloin steak with a Gorgonzola and sherry sauce, wild rice, and sauteed green beans, onions and red bell peppers
