Head coach Sean Arno is leaving Wellington High School to take over at Elyria, per Tim Alcorn of WEOL 930 AM.

Wellington went 5-5 in 2016, its first .500 season since 2011.

Arno owned a 10-20 record in his three seasons at Wellington.

The Elyria Pioneers went 3-7 in 2016, the worst record for the school since 2008 and the first losing season since 2010.

As of Jan. 25, Wellington and Amherst Steele are the last two Lorain County schools looking for head coaches.
