The Browns will have three quarterbacks on the roster after Griffin is released, but the team is expected to either trade or cut Brock Osweiler, which would leave Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan as the only two options.
The Browns continue to be the subject of trade rumors regarding Jimmy Garoppolo, but may use one of their 11 picks in the 2017 NFL Draft to address the position.
