Report: Brandon Paul to Sign with San Antonio Spurs

According to international basketball reporter David Pick, shooting guard Brandon Paul is expected to sign with the San Antonio Spurs, after an impressive seven-game stretch of Summer League play, in which he split time between the Dallas Mavericks and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Paul, 26, left the Cavs Summer League squad after scoring 21 points on Monday night, and according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, he had a deal in place shortly after that game.

The Illinois graduate averaged 15.6 points per game in seven summer league games and was a teammate of Cedi Osman, who reportedly agreed to join the Cavs from Turkey.
