Preview: Indians and White Sox Wrap Up Season Series Tonight in Chicago

1. Beiber’s Final Start of the Season

Rookie Shane Bieber has had a very good rookie campaign for the Indians, winning double digit games. Tonight he will look for his 11th win in what will be his final start of the season.

Beiber wasn’t expected to have much impact on the team this season, but slid into the starting rotation and actually wound up in the starting spot that many thought would go to Adam Plutko.

He will throw out of the pen as the long man in the postseason if needed, and with what he’s done in 2018, unless something unexpected happens, he’ll be the 5th starter for the club in 2019.
