Preview: Indians and White Sox Wrap Up Season Series Tonight in Chicago

2. Who is Jace Fry?

White Sox starter Jace Fry is a lefty who at one point was tabbed to possibly be the teams’ closer, but will start Wednesday’s finale against the Tribe.

In 57 games he’s got an ERA of 4.32 with a record of 2-2. He’ll probably pitch 1-3 innings, as it will be a ‘bullpen day’ for the White Sox, so don’t assume Fry will get many innings.

Fry has four saves for the Sox, and in 57 innings he’s allowed three homers, walked 19 batters, striking out 68. He might be the teams’ closer of the future and will get a look at the role in Spring Training in 2019.
