LeBron takes over as Cavs topple Nuggets; three takeaways

1. *Insert LeBron James kid voice here*

LeBron James being a basketball freak of nature isn’t exactly a well-kept secret. But on nights like tonight, it’s put on display in incredible fashion.

James ended the night with a whopping 39 points, 10 boards, and eight assists. He also closed out the game with plays like the following:

You know, just your average LeBron buckets.

James closed out the game scoring the Cavs’ final nine points, allowing Cleveland to hold onto the win. In the final two minutes, the Cavs held onto a two-point lead, 104-102, before James took over with a layup, a 3-pointer and two fadeaways.

For the game, he shot 15-of-25 from the field, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. By his 24th minute of action, he already had 30 points.

But the ending wasn’t the only time in the game James pulled off some heroics. He also scored 13 of the Cavs’ final 15 points to close out the first half.
