LeBron James And SpringHill Entertainment To Produce New-Look House Party Movie

Not only is LeBron James the best basketball player on the planet, he’s also an aspiring movie star. After his successful role in the comedy hit “Trainwreck” that also featured Amy Schumer, James is looking to take on another Hollywood challenge.

James, along with his business partner Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment, will be producing a new “House Party” movie. The team will be revamping the old Kid n’ Play comedy series which featured three different movies, airing in 1990, 1991, and 1994. Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori will be directing the movie.

LeBron confirmed the flick in the works on his Twitter.

James gave The Hollywood Reporter some insight on the upcoming movie.

“This is definitely not a reboot. It’s an entirely new look for a classic movie. Everyone I grew up with loved House Party. To partner with this creative team to bring a new House Party to a new generation is unbelievable.”

Maverick Carter even entertained the idea of James making an appearance in the movie when it’s all said and done.

“There’s no plan for it now, but he’s a fantastic actor, and if he wants a role, Stephen will find a great role to put him in.”

Once again, LeBron James proves why he is one of the biggest stars in the world.
