Indians Rookie OF Bradley Zimmer Two Homers Shy of Reaching a Tribe Milestone

It’s no secret that Indians CF Bradley Zimmer is having a tremendous first season with the big league club, and today a tweet from Baseball Reference showed just how good of a year he’s having.

The outfielder is closing in on being just the fifth all-time Indian to have steal 10 bases and hit 10 homers in his rookie season.

As seen from the graphic below, Zimmer has already reached over 10 steals with 13, and has 8 homers to his resume as of now.

He hit his 8th homer Monday in the Tribe’s 6-2 loss in Boston to the Red Sox.

If he’s able to hit two more homers, he will join Francisco Lindor, Von Hayes, Brian Giles and Earl Averill as the only other Indians to reach the mark in their first season in the Majors.
