HS Girls Bowling: Westlake Out Pins Magnificat

Feeling more comfortable at their home lanes this week, the Westlake Girls Varsity Team continued their undefeated season with their strongest showing all year with games of 830, 754, 670 and Baker games of 156 and 160 for a 3570 total.

The team was led by Senior Charlotte Button with a season-high 535 series, followed by Sophomore Taylor Hedges (488), Senior Peyton Hedges (461), Junior Jenny Wisniewski (400) and Senior Eve Anitas (370).

The Varsity Demons are hoping to take this performance to Rollhouse Parma on Sunday Dec 2nd as they compete in their first tournament of the season at the Wildcat Classic.

The JV team also had a strong showing today (1792 total), winning all their points against a sparse Villa Angela St. Joseph (VASJ) team. The JV team was led by Sophomores Rema Alsabony (356 series, 149 high game), Gabrielle Hansen (320), and Emily Hyland (293).

Also pitching in were Sophomore Gabi Atanaskovic, and Freshmen Mel Beech and Madison King-Washington.
