HS Basketball: Berea-Midpark Titans Fall To Lakewood Rangers 43-34

The Titans had a tall task traveling to the house of the defending Southwestern Conference champions. Lakewood’s Zion Kolodynski-Darby had 17 points, helping the Rangers stave off a setback at home with a 43-34 victory over Berea-Midpark on Tuesday night.The Rangers’ 18 point first quarter helped Lakewood get off to a fast start and take the lead into the locker room at the half. The Titans clamped down on defense in the second half, holding the Rangers to only 4 points in the third quarter.

Lian Levesque scored nine of his team high 13 points in the second half. Josh Finkovich knocked down two triples for his six and Omar Siggers added five points on the night.

The Titans will return to the friendly confines of the Bob Purdy Gymnasium for Friday December 14th’s match-up with North Ridgeville. Freshmen tip at 4:30, JV at 5:45 and Varsity at 7pm.
