CLEVELAND—The rivalry between the St. Ignatius Wildcats and St. Edward’s Eagles is returning to FirstEnergy Stadium.
The news was announced via press release by the St. Ignatius media relations department.
The Holy War and 56th meeting between the two teams will take place on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. The two schools last played at the stadium in 2016 with the Wildcats coming away with a 34-7 win as more than 17,000 fans watched.
Per the press release, more details related to tickets, parking and gameday information for the 2018 matchup will be available closer to gameday at ignatiuswildcats.com.
