Former Indian Jim Thome to Throw Out First Pitch in Game 7 Tonight Vs Cubs

The Indians have been holding back on who would be throwing out the first pitch in tonight’s game seven at Progressive Field, but now we know who that person will be.

The team announced that it will be all-time homerun leader Jim Thome, as the longtime slugger gets the honor following in the footsteps of Kenny Lofton, Carlos Bagera and Dennis Martinez.

The game ball delivery will also feature another former Indian, as ‘Pronk’ Travis Hafner will deliver that.

First pitch is set for 8:08pm.
