Edwin Walks The Parrot Twice, Indians Defeat Red Sox 7-3; Three Takeaways From The Victory

2. Bauer Continues To Be Efficient- Much like Encarnacion, Trevor Bauer was not performing to the level where he was expected to. Bauer had trouble finding the strike zone and would find himself leaving the mound a few times earlier than anybody expected. Bauer has since changed the narrative on him this year, limiting his walks and striking out a good amount of batters as of late while limiting his runs allowed. Bauer has been able to go deeper into ballgames on this stretch and tonight was no different. Bauer allowed only three runs in 6.2 innings pitched, striking out eleven batters and walking two. He continues to perform well and the Tribe are definitely happy to see he’s cruising right now, as he is fun to watch when he’s on his game.
