Camping World Truck Series points leader Christoper Bell captured his fourth win of the season at Pocono Raceway in the Overton’s 150.
Ben Rhodes qualified for the pole and led the field to the green flag.
Kyle Busch wouldn’t be behind for long, winning the first two stages of the race. On the ensuing restart, Busch and Justin Haley made contact, and Busch ended up in the wall, and his day was done.
A few laps later, Kaz Grala and Noah Gragson made contact with the turn one wall, ending the day for both drivers.
Truck Series points leader Christopher Bell made the race winning pass on John Hunter Nemechek with 11 laps to go, and would pull away to pick up his 4th win of the season. It is also the 20th career win for Bell’s crew chief, Rudy Fugle.
Ryan Truex finished 2nd, Ben Rhodes finished 3rd, John Hunter Nemechek 4th, and Johnny Sauter rounded out the top five.
The five drivers currently locked into the Truck Series playoffs are: Christopher Bell (points leader), John Hunter Nemechek, Johnny Sauter, Matt Crafton, and Kaz Grala.
The final three spots are occupied by drivers who do not yet have a victory on the season. Chase Briscoe is in sixth, 100+ clear of the cut line. Ben Rhodes and Ryan Truex are 7th and 8th in points. Their impressive runs today helped keep them ahead of Grant Enfinger, who currently sits in ninth, by a slim margin.
