Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Charge, the NBA G League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, host the Wisconsin Herd (Milwaukee Bucks) this weekend for a pair of games to open their 2023-24 campaign beginning with Opening Night on Friday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center.
The Charge will honor this year’s Cavs Summer League Championship team at Friday’s opener with a Summer League Champs t-shirt giveaway presented by Terminix for the first 2,000 fans. The shirt features Emoni Bates, Craig Porter Jr., Isaiah Mobley, Sharife Cooper, Sam Merrill and Coach Mike Gerrity.
The celebration continues Sunday at 6:00 p.m. with Pozzie’s Birthday where the first 1,000 kids will take home a Mini Hoop Schedule presented by Terminix. Some of Pozzie’s best friends from Northeast Ohio will be in attendance to celebrate! Rumored to be there and signing autographs are Sully, Magnus, Zippy, Chomps, Brownie the Elf, and so many more!

The Charge always look to create a fun atmosphere for fans, and this year the bar (or should we say board) has been set. New to Charge games this year is a sparkling new, state-of-the-art video board. This incredible new addition is a whopping 32 ft wide and 16 ft high (that’s 4.8 Emoni Bates by 2.6 Sharife Coopers, for anyone keeping track!). The board will hang from the west side of the arena and will transform the entire game day experience for Charge fans.

Fans will not only see new names on the court, but off the court as well. The team is excited to welcome Pope’s Cocktails as the official partner of the Charge Courtside Club. As part of this new partnership, adults of age will be able to purchase one of three specialty Pope’s Cocktails inside the club and throughout the Wolstein Center.
Charge fans can fuel up every Friday night with $1 hot dogs presented by Hot Dog Wally and $6 Charge Kids Day Meals featuring a Hot Dog Wally hot dog, chips, and drink on Sunday’s! The action doesn’t stop when the buzzer sounds, as fans are invited to participate in postgame free throws on the court and Charge player autographs, including the entire team this Friday!
