Browns to Workout Former Titans WR Rishard Matthews on Monday

The Browns continue to look to updgrade their offense, as Adam Schefter reports that the team is going to bring in former Tennessee Titans wide out Rishard Matthews to work out for the club on Monday.

The 28-year-old asked for his release from the Titans after they continued to move away from using him in their offense.

The seven-year veteran was a a seventh-round pick of the Dolphins out of Nevada, and in his best year as a pro (2016) he caught 65 passes for 945 yards and nine touchdowns.

In the 2017 season, he pulled in 53 passes for 795 yard and caught four scores for the wild card Titans, who made the AFC Divisional Round after beating the Chiefs in one of the AFC Wild Card games.

The Browns will not be the only stop for Matthews, as he is going to work out for the Arizona Cardinals Tuesday.
