Brock Lesnar’s UFC 200 Opponent Announced

The UFC world went nuts on Saturday night when it became official – ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar is returning to UFC, to fight in the companies biggest card of all-time – UFC 200.

Lesnar hasn’t stepped into a UFC ring since he lost to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 in December 2011.

At 38 years old, and having not fought in UFC in close to five years, it’s a risk to step into the ring, but Lesnar isn’t your normal fighter.

Lesnar is under contract to WWE, and will fight at SummerSlam, but today on SportsCenter on ESPN it was announced he will fight Mark Hunt, who is the 8th ranked heavyweight.

Hunt is 7-4-1, and has won each of his last two fights by knockout.

“I’ve never turned down a fight in UFC,” Lesnar said. “I picked up the phone, it’s taken some time for things to play out, I said ‘what are the chances of Brock Lesnar being on the card at UFC 200?”
