AP State Rankings Week 7

The Associated Press has released it’s latest Ohio high school football state poll and local Northeast Ohio schools dominate the rankings.

Led by perennial power St Ignatius Wildcats who sit atop the Division 1, Region 1 rankings, NE Ohio can hold their heads high as a number of local schools grace this week’s polls.

For the 5th straight week the Avon Eagles hold on to the top spot in Division II, Region 6. Dominating play on both sides of the ball and a hunger to erase last season’s devastating end fuels the Eagles’ march to the top of the polls.
