5. Enjoy Being Defending American League Champions
We know that anything less than a World Series would be disappointing, but don’t forget, it took 19 years just to get that American League Pennant back to the Land.
In the mid-90’s, fans went into every season EXPECTING a trip to the World Series.
They still only came away with two and lost both times.
Let’s cherish this accomplishment for what it is.
There are millions of variables that can take place and when all is said and done, it’s entirely possible this team does not meet expectations.
Don’t lose sight of how fun it’s going to be to see the team you love travel from city to city as defending AL Champs. It’s not an opportunity we get to experience too often around here.
