Naquin, the Tribe’s first-round draft pick from 2012, has the chance to make a big impression this Spring, especially in light of the injury to Michael Brantley and the suspension of Abraham Almonte.

Cleveland’s outfield situation was already precarious before the suspension, but now there may be room for Naquin to make the team if he impresses the coaching staff and front office.

He made sure to do that in the Cactus League opener, going 1-2 with a triple.
