33 Northeast Ohio Tennis Players to Compete for OHSAA Individual and Doubles Girls Tennis State Titles at Wooster College

The OHSAA Girls Tennis State Championships start today at Wooster College.

High school tennis players from around Ohio will compete today and tomorrow for the OHSAA Division I and Division II Singles and Doubles State Championship.

Competing today in the OHSAA Division I Singles Bracket are six players from Northeast Ohio including Amara Brahmbhatt (Westlake), Anna Mancino (Magnificat), Elana Fleming (NDCL), Tessa Bucher (North Canton), Natalie Smitek (Avon), and Alley Haynes (Medina Highland). 

Competing in the OHSAA Division II Singles Bracket are five players from Northeast Ohio including Brooke McNeal (Kenston), Rita Tahir (Laurel), Haley Slay (Hoban), Abigail Lynch (Gilmour), and Dani Forte (Hawken).

In addition to players competing for Singles Titles, many schools from Northeast Ohio will be competing for Doubles State Titles.

Competing today and tomorrow for the OHSAA Division I Girls Tennis State Title are Hudson (Violet Tuttle and Soph Uijtewaal), North Canton Hoover (Nyla Spangler, Bridget Fink, Emma Papcke, Addison Shell), Aurora (Gracie Milano and Kamy Milano), Magnificat (Molly Williams and Corrine Daniels), and Avon Lake (Autumn Corey and Amber Corey).

Also competing for the OHSAA Division II Girls Tennis State Title are Orange (Lilly Guller and Daniela De Mata Hiciano), Hathaway Brown (Summer Mu and Kate Mills), Canfield (Whitney Miller and Sisi Nalluri), Hoban (Campbell Miller and Kate Wenzlik), and Hawken (Valeria Kisleyansky and Hayley Garber).
