A local product (played at St. Ignatius High School), Dietrich hits left, throws right, and the 29-year-old is hitting .279 this season with 13 homers and 36 RBI

He plays for the most part against righties, hitting .296 (.824 OPS) against them. He’s an affordable option for the Tribe, making $2.9 million this season.

Add to the fact he would be locked up until 2021, and he’s exactly the type of player the Indians would love to ink.

From an offensive side this has been his best season to date.
