Michael Roberts TE Toledo
The Browns need more weapons at TE after missing on a lot of them in recent drafts. With this group being so deep, they can get Roberts on day three when he might have gone day two another year. Besides Barnidge, Seth DeValve was the only other TE that did something and he didn’t show up until the final couple of games. DeValve is only 245 pounds, so Roberts at 6’4” 270 pounds gives more of a big body frame that can be used on the line as a blocker. Roberts showed some productivity as a receiver catching 16 touchdown passes his senior season for sixth most in the FBS. He’s got gigantic 11 1’2” hands and is a local kid that wants to be here. I think he’d be a perfect fit.
