Watch Monsters Fans React to their Team Advancing to the Western Conference Finals

The Lake Erie Monsters advanced to the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night, winning a dramatic come-from-behind game in overtime, thanks to a game-winning goal from first-round draft-pick Zach Werenski.

It’s the first time in franchise history that the Monsters have reached the Western Conference Finals.

The game was in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Monsters fans rallied together to support their team at a watch party at Felix and Oscar’s Pub in Westlake.

NEO Sports Insiders tagged along to watch the game and share the experience with Monsters fans and here is a video of the crowd’s reaction when Werenski scored the game-winning goal.

After the goal, the fans kept the chants going, and will continue to support their team throughout the quest to the Calder Cup.

Next stop: Ontario, California to take on the Reign.
