Cavs lack energy, fall to the Wizards 119-95

Career for the Rook

Collin Sexton has continued to grow as a player since being inserted into the starting lineup.

Ever since being thrust into the starting lineup, rookie Collin Sexton has looked much more comfortable. It is no secret that the Sexton has tremendous quickness, but the game seemed to be moving too fast for him early on. Over the last few games Sexton has used his pace to his advantage, changing speeds to help control the action.

Sexton scored a career high 24 points on the road Wednesday night, out dueling All-Star point guard John Wall. The development of Sexton is the most important thing for the Cavaliers this season even when the team is losing by 24 points. It is encouraging to see the growth from Sexton considering everything going on around the organization. Since getting the starting nod, hes averaged 18.8ppg, and 3.5ast per game.
