The Westlake Demons improved to 7-3 and clinched a playoff spot with their 63-42 win at Berea-Midpark.

Senior quarterback Trey Biawolas completed three touchdown passes, all to senior receiver Conner Sterneckert, and the duo entered the history books.

Bialowas now owns the school record for passing touchdowns in a season with 30.

Sterneckert caught 16 of those on the season – also a single season school record.

Although Westlake’s defense has not been its strong suit, the Demon offense has put up at least 50 points in five straight games.

Wide receivers Tariq Beach and Terrence Rose each scored two touchdowns in the win and running back Q’Darr Robinson gained 210 yards on 16 carries.

The Demons will travel to Holland Springfield (10-0) for the first round of the D-II Region 6 playoffs.
