COLUMBUS, OH – Ticket sales are OPEN for the first 50/50 Raffle of the 2023 Ohio State football season!

Cohesion Foundation, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that benefits Ohio State student-athletes and local charities will be the presenting sponsor of the 50/50 raffle at every home Ohio State Football game this fall. The raffle is sponsored and administered entirely by Cohesion through an agreement with LEARFIELD’s Ohio State Sports Properties, the university’s athletics multimedia rightsholder.

Half the jackpot will benefit Ohio State student-athletes through NIL partnerships with local charitable organizations, while the other half of the jackpot will go to a randomly selected ticket buyer.

The raffle is the first of its kind for Ohio State athletics. It was first launched with the Spring Game in April 2023 with the winner taking home $11,048.

As of August 29, fans can head to osu5050.com to begin purchasing raffle tickets online for the first home game on September 9th against Youngstown State. Ticket buyers do not have to attend the game to purchase tickets or be selected as the winner. Tickets will be available for purchase at Ohio Stadium and online until the conclusion of each game.

The Raffle is governed by Ohio law and open only to purchasers present in Ohio at the time of purchase who are at least 18 years old at time of purchase.

Tickets will be sold at a rate of 5 for $10, 20 for $20, 85 for $40, and 400 for $100. Sales will close at the conclusion of each game. The winner will be announced via Cohesion Foundation social media and on the official 50/50 website before noon on the Sunday following each game. Raffle tickets for the following weeks game will be made available for purchase online at the conclusion of each weeks drawing.

The 50/50 raffle will be handled by Rafflebox, a certified and accredited digital platform that enables major league programs to create and manage high-volume raffles.
