Report: Jones to Start at QB for Steelers Against Browns

To the surprise of just about no one, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not start today when the Steelers host the Browns at Heinz Field.

ESPN stated a source says backup Quarterback Landry Jones will get his second pro start in place of Big Ben.

Hobbled Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will back up Landry Jones when the Steelers host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Heinz Field, a source told ESPN’s Britt McHenry.

Roethlisberger, who had his left foot roll under him while being brought to the ground late in last week’s win over the Oakland Raiders, had been listed by the team as questionable for Sunday

This will be the 5th game this season the Steelers have played without Roethlisberger, and the team has gone 2-2 in the first four affairs.

In Jones’ only start the Steelers lost to the Chiefs in Kansas City.

ESPN also claims that Mike Vick will be inactive against the Browns.
