Report: Gordon Was at Trashed House in Los Angeles Rented Out by Manziel

The news appears to not be good for Browns wide out Josh Gordon, who had a tough week after it came out Monday that he reportedly failed another drug test.

The news now is that Gordon was in the rented house in Los Angeles that Johnny Manziel left trashed after a weekend party. Reports also say drugs were found in the home.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that Gordon was identified as one of the people in the home during the party by the home’s owner.

A person identifying himself as Josh Gordon was with Johnny Manziel at a rented home in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles last week that was damaged, with alcohol and what appeared to be drugs readily visible, the owner of the rental agency told cleveland.com on Friday.

Nicholas Goodwin said he never saw Gordon or Manziel doing drugs or drinking, but he said he saw what appeared to be cocaine on a table and other substances that appeared to be mushrooms and marijuana when the two were in the home, where two days of partying took place.

Gordon had his petition for reinstatement to the NFL from his drug ban denied on Tuesday, a day after a report surfaced that he failed a drug test in March. He can reapply for reinstatement Aug. 1, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he is confident that Gordon will be reinstated this time around. Rosenhaus, who recently took on Manziel as a client, is instead in the process of dropping him.

It’s another black eye for the Browns wide out, who just keeps putting himself in bad situations as he tries to work his way back to the NFL.
